In the past when buying a property we have had a Chartered surveyors survey and have found that although they highlight concerns, you are left to look at rectifying problems and obtaining craftsmen and costs yourself. This time, following a recommendation from our Estate Agent, we decided to go with a Property Overview report carried out by Reframe Property and Development Ltd. In our first contact, Cath Gregory was very helpful in providing a summary of what was included in the report and what was excluded, the cost of the report and organising a date. The survey was carried out by Mark Sully on the date agreed and Mark duly sent through the report a week later.
We received a detailed full report, which included lots of photographs of the exterior and room by room, together with comments on condition and highlighting problems. We also received a summary report which listed key concerns together with recommended actions and also estimates of the costs involved. All the way through the process both Cath and Mark were approachable and were happy to discuss and provide further details where we had questions. We found the solution driven approach by Reframe to be very reassuring and this put our minds at rest in what can be a stressful situation. We would have no hesitation in recommending Reframe to anyone who is looking for a very comprehensive overview on a property they are looking to buy. Thank you very much Cath and Mark.
